Intensive In-Home (IIH) services are in-depth, time-limited interventions provided mainly in the residence of the child. Individuals must demonstrate a clinical necessity arising from a severe condition due to mental, behavioral, or emotional illness that results in significant functional impairments in major life activities.

WHO WE SERVE

 

Intensive in-home services targets children and adolescents aged 5 through 18 who demonstrate a clinical necessity arising from a condition due to mental, substance abuse, behavioral, or emotional illnesses that result in significant functional impairments in major life activities, which places them at risk for removal from their home.

OUR GOALS

 

  • To assist families in achieving a stable, healthy home environment by reducing or eliminating problematic behaviors or emotional conditions.

  • To successfully prevent out-of-home placements.

​

  • To utilize short-term, solution focused treatment strategies to build upon the family’s foundation.

​

  • To offer a variety of services and interventions to meet the individualized needs of the families in services.

​

  • To coordinate and collaborate with other external agencies to ensure maximizing the family’s opportunities for success.

​

  • To empower families to competently participate in treatment decision-making.

​

  • To use a team approach which fosters the family’s participation.
